Come, let us walk this road together

Author: Tom Colvin Appears in 2 hymnals Refrain First Line: Spirit of Yesu, Spirit of love Lyrics: 1 Come, let us walk this road together, firm steps declaring our trust today. God walks before us and among us, guiding our steps along the way. Refrain: Spirit of Yesu, Spirit of love; help us your purpose to comprehend. Spirit of Yesu, Spirit of love; Keep us your own, our Spirit-Friend. 2 Come, let us share our neighbor's sorrow, lighten the load laid upon our friend. Great burdens shared are made much lighter, mountains, tho' high, we can ascend. [Refrain] 3 Come, let us share our joys and gladness, helping each other to travel on. Around us light grows ever brighter, God never leaves us all alone. [Refrain] 4 Our God is full of love and mercy, and can be trusted to lead us on. Now we proclaim our faith together, Christ's pain and death our battle won. [Refrain] Topics: Songs of Transformation Used With Tune: CHIBANZI
