1 “Lo, I am with you alway,
Even unto the end,”
Hear the sweet words of Jesus,
Trust and dearest Friend.

2 He who hath died to save me
Ever will safely keep,
He is the tender Shepherd,
Calling by name His sheep.

3 E’en in the vale of shadow,
Evil I need not fear;
I shall not be forsaken,
Jesus will still be near.

4 And even in the Judgment,
No terror can come nigh,
Nor any condemnation,
With Jesus standing by.
