127. Waiting for You

1 Two little lambs in the upper fold.
From heat of summer, and winter's cold;
Safe from earth's guile and its dreams untrue,
Two little lambs now are waiting for you.

2 Two little darlings, whose pattering feet,
With angels bright, tread the golden streets;
Wander forever 'mid Eden's bow'rs,
Waiting for you thro' the golden hours.

3 Two little lambs from all sorrows free,
Thro' long, long years of eternity;
From heat of summer, and winter cold,
Waiting for you in the upper fold.
