Representative Text

1 You have time for seeking earth’s treasures,
You have time for hoarding its gain,
You have time to revel in pleasures,
You have time in sin to remain.

Chorus:
No time for your Savior,
While years onward roll;
Soon time will be over,
And you, and you will have lost your soul.

2 You have time for each earthly trifle,
As on you carelessly plod,
But the voice of conscience you stifle
While you live and die without God. [Chorus]

3 You have time today, but tomorrow
May never be yours, my friend;
What a great unspeakable sorrow,
If your life without God you should end. [Chorus]
