Representative Text

1 Worthy the Lamb who was slain for sinners,
Worthy the Lamb! worthy the Lamb!
Who died for me, healed my soul’s diseases,
Worthy the Lamb who died.

Refrain:
Worthy the Lamb! worthy the Lamb!
Who died for me on dark Calvary;
Thanks be to God the lowly Jesus,
Who died for me, for me.

2 Worthy the Lamb who on Calv’ry’s mountain,
Died there for me, died there for me;
Lo! from His side flowed the crimson fountain,
Worthy the Lamb who died. [Refrain]

3 Worthy the Lamb, tell the wondrous story,
Worship and praise, worship and praise;
Worthy the Lamb now enthroned in glory,
Worthy the Lamb who died. [Refrain]
