Representative Text

1 Windows of heaven are open today,
Showers of blessing are floating our way;
‘Tis the fulfilment of God’s blessed word,
He is now shedding His Spirit abroad.

Chorus:
Times of refreshing are coming again,
There is a sound of abundance of rain;
Rouse you, O Christian, be girded with pow’r,
Open your heart to the heavenly show’r.

2 Children of God, who have turned from their sin,
Earnestly seek now the lost ones to win;
Flowers are growing where once grew the briar,
God is baptizing His people with fire. [Chorus]

3 Sinners are calling on God night and day,
Over the multitudes Jesus holds sway;
Many are singing the new song of love,
Having received the new life from above. [Chorus]
