Representative Text

1 While the busy days are passing, and the years are rolling by,
Make your blessings count for Jesus ev’ry day;
Let your light shine out with gladness, it may brighten someone’s sky,
Make your blessings count for Jesus ev’ry day.

Refrain:
Make your blessings count ev’ry day,
Follow Him in all you do,
Make your blessings count for Jesus ev’ry day,
Don’t forget His love for you.

2 He is just the same today as when He walked beside the sea,
Make your blessings count for Jesus ev’ry day;
Just the same as when He died upon the cross for you and me,
Make your blessings count for Jesus ev’ry day. [Refrain]

3 There are many souls in darkness, sin hath blinded many eyes,
Make your blessings count for Jesus ev’ry day;
Turn their faces to the sunshine, upward to the smiling skies,
Make your blessings count for Jesus ev’ry day. [Refrain]

4 Tho’ the path He leads you may not always glow with sunshine bright,
Make your blessings count for Jesus ev’ry day;
In His strength and courage you may lead a soul into the light,
Make your blessings count for Jesus ev’ry day. [Refrain]
