Representative Text

1 Where Jesus goes I’ll gladly follow,
Thro’ shine or shade, no matter where;
If He has trod the way before me,
I, too, can travel safely there.

Refrain:
Where Jesus goes I’ll gladly follow,
No matter where the path may lead,
O’er thorny way and rugged mountain,
Or in His pleasant pastures feed.

2 Where Jesus goes I’ll gladly follow,
Tho’ ties of earth should broken be;
I know His love is safely guiding
To what is always best for me. [Refrain]

3 Where Jesus goes I’ll gladly follow,
Tho’ heathen lands before me lie;
‘Tis my delight for Him to labor
And in His will to live or die. [Refrain]

4 Where Jesus goes I’ll gladly follow,
Tho’ it may be to Calvary;
For if I here must suffer with Him,
In heaven I His face shall see. [Refrain]
