Representative Text

1 When the heart is filled with sighing,
His love lights up the way;
When the eyes are dim with crying,
His love lights up the way.

Chorus:
His love lights up the way,
Love brighten each day;
How happy our hearts should be
When love lights up the way.

2 Tho’ the path seems dark before me,
His love lights up the way;
Tho’ the clouds hang thickly o’er me,
His love brightens each day. [Chorus]

3 Tho’ His blessings seem to tarry,
His love lights up the way;
Heavy is the cross I carry,
His love brightens each day. [Chorus]

4 From the cross to home in heaven,
His love lights up the way;
As each task to me is given,
His love brightens each day. [Chorus]
