Representative Text

1 We have taken up our stand
To evangelize the land,
And for Jesus we will capture all the world;
We have raised our standard high,
And for it we'll live and die,
For the flag of Jesus ever shall be furled.

Chorus:
On, on to the conflict,
On, on to the conflict;
Victory, victory,
Shall our war war cry be through the world.
We have raised our standard high,
And for it we'll live and die,
For the flag of Jesus ever shall be furled.

2 With the gospel armor on,
In the name of God's own Son,
We go forth to battle with the wily foe;
We'll be brave and courage take,
And His cause we'll ne'er forsake,
While our conquering legion on to vict'ry go.

Chorus:
On, on to the conflict,
On, on to the conflict;
Victory, victory,
Shall our way cry be throughout the world.
We'll be brave and courage take,
And His cause we'll ne'er forsake,
While our conquering legion on to vict'ry go.

3 We've a crafty foe to meet,
But we'll never show retreat,
In the battle for the right against the wrong;
We are battling for the Lord,
And our weapons are his word,
Which will give to us at last the victor's song.

Chorus:
On, on to the conflict,
On, on to the conflict;
Victory, victory,
Shall our way cry be throughout the world.
We are battling for the Lord,
And our weapons are his word,
Which will give to us at last the victor's song.
