We come to thee, Lord Jesus, with offerings full and free

Author: Julia H. Johnston
Tune: JACOB LAKE
Published in 1 hymnal

Representative Text

1 We come to thee, Lord Jesus,
With off'rings full and free;
Ourselves and all our service,
We consecrate to thee.

Chorus:
Lord, hear our prayer,
Hear and receive us now;
Lord, hear our prayer,
As before thy face we bow.

2 Our wayward hearts we bring thee,
So readily still to sin;
Oh, take the hearts we offer,
And make them pure within. [Chorus]

3 Our hands and feet we give thee,
Our lips, our lives, our all;
Lord, send us on thine errands,
And keep us lest we fall. [Chorus]

4 We long to love and please thee,
As Master thee we own;
Oh, help us, loving Saviour,
We are so weak alone. [Chorus]
