Representative Text

1 We are gathered, blessed Jesus, in Thy name,
Give us a new touch of fire today;
In our hearts increase the Pentecostal flame,
Give us a new touch of fire today.

Refrain:
Give us a new touch of fire today,
Give us a new touch of fire, we pray;
Draw us nearer, closer still,
To the center of Thy will,
Give us a new touch of fire today.

2 We are longing to be like Thee more and more,
Give us a new touch of fire today;
Till our cup of gladness shall be running o’er,
Give us a new touch of fire today. [Refrain]

3 That our service for Thee better may become,
Give us a new touch of fire today;
On our journey to the better, brighter home,
Give us a new touch of fire today. [Refrain]
