Representative Text

1 Waiting to guard and guide me,
Walking so close beside me,
Safe in His fold to hide me,
Jesus my wonderful Savior.

Refrain:
Ready to help and hear me,
Waiting to bless and cheer me,
Jesus is always near me,
O praise Him forevermore.

2 From chains of sin He freed me,
Wherever He may lead me,
Whenever He may need me,
Gladly I follow my Savior. [Refrain]

3 Why should I fear tomorrow?
In gladness or in sorrow,
Comfort from Him I borrow,
Jesus my wonderful Savior. [Refrain]

4 When earthly ties are riven,
I shall go home to heaven,
There shall to me be given
A crown by my wonderful Savior. [Refrain]
