Representative Text

1 ‘Tis safe to go where Jesus goes,
Who follows Him will never stray;
He shields His own from all their foes,
And safely keeps them in the way.

Refrain:
He knows the way, and so I go
Along with Him who loves me so;
My hand in His, this friend will hold
Till I have passed the gates of gold.

2 The storms may sweep across my path,
But Jesus will be at my side;
The foe may rise and show his wrath,
In Jesus safe, my soul can hide. [Refrain]

3 And so I’ll trust His saving grace,
Where’er I go and come what may;
Through ev’ry dark and dang’rous place,
I know that He will lead the way. [Refrain]
