Representative Text

1 There are hearts to comfort,
Timid ones to lead,
Homeless ones to shelter,
Hungry ones to feed;
There is work for Jesus,
Here and everywhere,
And because we love him,
We will do our share.

Refrain:
We will do our share!
We will do our share!
And because we love him,
We will do our share.

2 There are lives to brighten,
Tears to wipe away,
Doubts and fears to banish,
Everywhere today;
There are souls to strengthen,
Burdens great to bear,
And because we love him,
We will do our share. [Refrain]

3 There are words of pity,
Love, and cheer to speak,
Erring souls to counsel,
Wanderers to seek;
There are souls to rescue,
Here and everywhere,
And because we love him,
We will do our share. [Refrain]
