Representative Text

1 The world is growing better ev’ry day and ev’ry hour,
Christ is King, and Lord of all;
And the cross of Calvary shall in, in spite of Satan’s pow’r,
Christ is King, and Lord of all.

Refrain:
He is King, and Lord of all,
Christ is King, and Lord of all,
Ev’rywhere the world is in His care,
Jesus Christ is King, and Lord of all.

2 Soon the shout of conquest shall be heard o’er ev’ry land and sea,
Christ is King, and Lord of all;
And the nations of the earth shall from the grip of sin be free,
Christ is King, and Lord of all. [Refrain]

3 We will tarry at His blessed feet till victory is won,
Christ is King, and Lord of all;
Not a word of all His promises shall ever be undone,
Christ is King, and Lord of all. [Refrain]
