Representative Text

1 The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth,
The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth;
O let ev'ry tongue and tribe
To him majesty ascribe,
And glorify His matchless name.
The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth,
The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth;
To Him ev’ry knee shall bend,
And His reign shall never end,
For the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth.

Refrain:
He reigns, He reigns,
From sea to sea, from shore to shore,
For the King of kings and the Lord of lords,
For the King of kings and the Lord of lords
Shall reign, shall reign,
Shall reign forevermore, forevermore, forevermore, forevermore.

2 The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth,
The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth;
Earthly kingdoms rise and fall,
But above, beyond them all,
His throne established is for aye.
The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth,
The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth;
Mighty Potentate of Love,
In the realms of light above,
For the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth. [Refrain]

3 The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth,
The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth;
When the years of time are o'er,
And when suns shall rise no more,
He still will be the King of kings.
The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth,
The Lord God Omnipotent reigneth;
Seraphim and Cherubim
Bring their homage unto Him,
For the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth. [Refrain]
