Representative Text

1 The King in His glory will come by and by;
The day and the hour is unknown;
O how will it fare with me and thee,
When He calls us to reap what we’ve sown?

Refrain:
Reap what we’ve sown,
Reap what we’ve sown,
Reap what we’ve sown,
When He call us to reap what we’ve sown?

2 O what shall we answer the King when He comes,
And calls for the harvest we’ve grown?
O will it be naught but leaves we bring,
When He calls us to reap what we’ve sown? [Refrain]

3 Then let us look well to the seek that we sow,
And sow for the Master alone,
That when He shall call the “Harvest Home,”
Then rejoicing we’ll reap what we’ve sown. [Refrain]
