Representative Text

1 The golden homelights gleam and glow,
And cheer me on and on;
Thus they will show the way to go,
Until the nights have gone.

Refrain:
O lights of home,
O golden lights of love,
Shine on till dawn,
The dawn of life above.

2 Tho’ wildly sweeps and beats the storm,
Tho’ trouble billows roll,
These golden lights like friendship warm,
Give comfort to my soul. [Refrain]

3 Till all the dangers have been passed,
These lights will shine for me,
That I may praise my God at last,
Beside the crystal sea. [Refrain]
