The foe is on the move.
Go forth O Church of God to the fray,
Equipp’d by the pow’r of love.

Refrain:
The call to arms is heaven’s call
To all who love the Lord;
No one shall suffer loss
Who fights beneath the cross,
Let not this vain, deceitful world
Allure you by its charms;
Put on the armor and obey
The Master’s call to arms.

2 The foe is strong, the march may be hard
But God is in command.
Be not dismay’d, your Master and Lord,
Protects you by His strong hand. [Refrain]

3 O rally then, ye soldiers of heav’n,
The fight today is on.
God’s promise to His host has been giv’n,
That victory shall be won. [Refrain]

Martin, Civilla Durfee (Jordan Falls, Nova Scotia, August 21, 1866--March 9, 1948, Atlanta, Georgia). Daughter of James N. and Irene (Harding) Holden. She married Rev. John F. Geddes, Congregational minister of Coventryvilee, N.Y. at Jordan Falls Methodist Church, Shelbourne Co., Nova Scotia, on May 19, 1891. There is thus far no information about their marriage and its end. After several years of teaching school, she married Walter Stillman Martin, a Baptist minister, and traveled with him in evangelistic work. However, because of frail health, she was compelled to remain home much of the time. In 1916, they became members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). They had one son, A.G. Martin.
