ENGLISH -
Jesus Christ, Joyous Light!
pure ray from the blazing splendor
of the Father, who dwells immortal,
hallowed, blest, in heaven above!
Once more we come at sunset hour;
while cheerful lamps give gladness
amid the gloom, one God we praise,
Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
To you, Everlasting Son of the Father,
sacred anthems ever should we sing:
you are worthy of all worship,
you have brought eternal life.
