Representative Text

1 Somebody knows a bright way
Out of the vale of strife;
Somebody knows the right way
Over the hills of life.

Refrain:
Somebody knows, somebody knows,
Waiting your friend to be;
Somebody knows, Christ only knows,
Whispers, “Come to me.”

2 Somebody knows all sorrow,
Knows how to make it light;
Knows when you fear the morrow,
Knows how to make it bright. [Refrain]

3 Somebody knows your weakness,
Knows you are far astray;
Somebody, showing meekness,
Pleads for your love today. [Refrain]

4 Somebody knows you need Him,
Knows that your life is drear;
Wanderer, won’t you heed Him,
While He is pleading near? [Refrain]
