Representative Text

1 Some glad morning I’ll awaken
In the presence of my Lord,
When the waiting time is over,
He will be my great reward.

Refrain:
Some glad morning,
Some glad morning
I shall sing of saving grace,
In eternity’s fair dawning
I shall see Him face to face.

2 Some glad morning I shall hear Him
Speak His words of welcome sweet,
And the loved ones that have left me
In His presence I shall meet. [Refrain]

3 Some glad morning when the shadows
Have departed evermore,
I shall see the light eternal,
Shining on that golden shore. [Refrain]

4 Some glad morning in the homeland,
Where no one shall homeless be,
I shall see the many mansions,
And there will be one for me. [Refrain]
