Singing of Jesus all the way along

Author: Frank M. Davis
Tune: SINGING OF JESUS
Published in 2 hymnals

Representative Text

1 Singing of Jesus all the way along,
Singing of His mercy, singing of His love;
How He for me did die upon the cross
That I might in glory dwell with Him above.

Chorus:
Singing, singing all the way,
Singing of His mercy, singing of His love;
Singing, singing all the day,
All along the journey to the land above.

2 Singing of Jesus, blessed Son of God,
Singing of the goodness of this mighty King;
Angels in glory help to swell the song,
Till all earth and heaven with His praises sing. [Chorus]

3 Singing of Jesus, bless His holy name,
He who doth restrain me from the ways of sin;
So will I praise Him in the sweetest song,
When I reach the heaven that I hope to win. [Chorus]
