Representative Text

1 Sing of Jesus and his glory,
He who rules and reigns above;
There is music in the story
Of his sweet redeeming love.

Refrain:
O the music of the story,
How it thrills my raptured soul!
Sing it here and sing it yonder,
While eternal ages roll.

2 Sing of him who changes never,
He who is the sinner’s friend;
Sing the story, sing it ever,
May its music have no end. [Refrain]

3 May the story sweet and tender,
Find an echo in each heart;
May each voice his praises render,
From his love may none depart. [Refrain]
