Representative Text

1 Pray that my feet do not weary grow,
While I labor on;
Pray that the seed will all surely grow,
Whithersoe’er I’ve sown.

Chorus:
Then out in the field the story I’ll tell,
Glad news of salvation o’er mountain and dell,
How Jesus, my Savior, with man came to dwell,
To rescue each lost one from sin.

2 Pray that my hands may be willing and strong,
In the Master’s field;
Pray that my heart shall rejoice in song
Over the promised yield. [Chorus]

3 Pray that my labor be not in vain,
For the fields are white;
Pray that I’ll garner much golden grain
Safe from the storms of night. [Chorus]

4 Pray that whatever my lot may be,
Tho’ I sow or reap,
Pray that my Savior’s dear face I’ll see,
E’en tho’ I stop to weep. [Chorus]
