Representative Text

1 Out in the world where so many are sad,
Tell of the love of Jesus;
Ever it comforts and makes the soul glad;
Tell of the love of Jesus.

Refrain:
Tell of it, sing of it every hour;
Tell of its sweetness and sing of its pow’r,
O what a blessing to others you’ll be,
If you’ll tell of the love of Jesus.

2 Out in the highways of struggle and strife,
Tell of the love of Jesus;
Tell how it sweetens and brightens your life;
Tell of the love of Jesus. [Refrain]

3 Down in the valleys of grief and despair,
Tell of the love of Jesus;
Say he is longing their sorrows to share;
Tell of the love of Jesus. [Refrain]

4 Out in the ever dark places of sin,
Tell of the love of Jesus;
Help some poor sinner salvation to win;
Tell of the love of Jesus. [Refrain]
