1 Our risen Lord and Savior
Is coming back again,
In majesty and glory,
The King of kings to reign.
All pride of earthly grandeur
Shall at His scepter fall,
And they, who once rejected,
Shall crown Him Lord of all.

Refrain:
In clouds we shall behold Him,
With saints and angels bright,
Oh, let us all be ready,
And watching day and night.

2 Our blessèd Lord is coming
To claim the world His own;
The lost of sin, affrighted,
Shall see Him on His throne.
While we, who bear His image,
Shall meet Him in the air,
And swell the hallelujahs,
That hail His triumph there. [Refrain]

3 Our Lord is surely coming,
The joyful news proclaim,
And we shall then be like Him,
Hosanna to His name.
