1 O wonderful story true,
Tho’ old it is ever new;
The story of love
From heaven above,
O wonderful story of Jesus.

Chorus:
O wonderful story of Jesus,
Its message I love to repeat;
O marvelous story of Jesus,
That wonderful story so sweet.

2 O wonderful story old,
‘Tis never too often told;
Glad victory swells,
Like sweet chiming bells,
From the wonderful story of Jesus. [Chorus]

3 O wonderful story sweet,
Its message I would repeat;
For those in despair
And burdened with care
Find joy in the story of Jesus. [Chorus]

4 O wonderful story true,
Its power can wonders do;
For pris’ners of sin
Their freedom can win
Thro’ the wonderful story of Jesus. [Chorus]
