Representative Text

1 O the world is full of joy to me!
I have no fear, no care;
Ev’ry day is full of light to me,
And I am happy anywhere.

Refrain:
Within my heart is heaven’s sunshine;
For the morrow little do I care;
So long as Jesus shows me his smiling face,
I can be happy anywhere.

2 O the world is full of love and light!
Its pleasures now I share;
Jesus makes each passing moment bright,
And I am happy anywhere. [Refrain]

3 O the world holds much of good for me!
God’s love pervades the air;
All around his blessings I can see,
And I am happy anywhere. [Refrain]

4 O the world grows brighter day by day,
More beautiful and fair!
I have Jesus with me all the way,
And I am happy anywhere. [Refrain]
