Representative Text

1 O Lord, send a wave of salvation
Over our souls, over our souls;
We’ll praise thee and give adoration
While ever onward it rolls.

Refrain:
Send, Lord, a wave of salvation,
Hear us we pray, make no delay,
Send, Lord, a wave of salvation
Over our souls today.

2 Send now, like a wave of the ocean,
Even this hour, even this hour;
Subduing all strife and commotion,
Gracious and mighty in power. [Refrain]

3 O quicken us, Lord, by thy Spirit,
Heal us within, heal us within;
By grace we are sav’d by thy merit,
Cleanse us and keep us from sin. [Refrain]
