Representative Text

1 Oh, how the Savior loves
The little ones who trust his grace!
Each day his love he proves,
And shows to us his smiling face.

Chorus:
Jesus loves,
Jesus loves
Little hearts;
Peace and love
From above
He imparts;
Sing and rejoice
With a glad voice—
Little ones to him are dear.

2 Holding us to his breast,
He shields our little souls from strife,
Comforts us when distrest,
And gladdens ev’ry day of life. [Chorus]

3 No harm to us can come;
For he will shield till life is o’er,
Then take us to his home,
Where we shall dwell forevermore. [Chorus]
