Representative Text

1 O heart of grief look up, trust on,
The Savior knows thy pain;
The heavy clouds will soon be gone,
The sun will shine again.

Refrain:
The sun will shine again dear heart,
The sun will shine again;
Just look above and trust His love,
The sun will shine again.

2 O burdened one, a friend is near,
Whose help you may obtain;
Just whisper “Jesus” He will hear,
The sun will shine again. [Refrain]

3 Poor captive, longing to be free,
You shall not plead in vain,
Your fetters all shall broken be,
The sun will shine again. [Refrain]

4 As morning follows midnight drear,
As sunshine follows rain,
Joy follows grief and pain and fear,
The sun will shine again. [Refrain]
