Representative Text

1 O hear the call, the Royal call!
Ye hosts of God give ear!
It comes to me, it comes to all,
“Ten million souls a year!”
Stay not to ask, or reason how,
But rally, ev’ry one;
Believe and see the triumph now:
In Christ it can be done.

Refrain:
Go forth with Faith’s protecting shield:
Go with the Spirit’s sword,
The citadels of sin must quickly yield
Before our conq’ring Lord.

2 The call is unto ev’ry one:
Be girded for the fray!
The battle long ago begun,
Is raging still to-day.
The sign of triumph lights the sky,
Behold its rising sun!
Go forth with this your battle cry:
“In Christ it can be done!” [Refrain]

3 Fill up the ranks and onward move,
The Royal call obey:
Your loyalty and valor prove:
Stand up for Christ to-day.
Go forward in Jehovah’s name,
In heart and hand as one:
The world for Jesus be our aim—
In Christ it can be done. [Refrain]
