1. Para mim tem Deus mercê?
Pode ainda perdoar?
Graça ainda eu acharei?
Eu, que devo só penar?

2. Muito tempo O resisti;
Muitas vezes provoquei.
Suas chamadas não ouvi.
Muito e muito O magoei.

3. Arrependo-me, Senhor!
Meus pecados deixarei.
Enche-me de negro horror
Todo o mal que pratiquei.

4. Já me escuta o Salvador;
Jubiloso quer me ouvir
Diz: “Voltou um pecador!!
Anjos, vinde assistir!”

5. Pede ao Pae por mim “Perdão”
Pela morte que soffreu.
Deus é amor. Raiou o clarão!
Deus me amou, e tudo é meu.
