Watts, Rev. Edwin L. (Terre Hill, Pennsylvania, April 4, 1855--March 6, 1935, Terre Hill). School teacher seventeen years. Poet and writer. Married in 1876 to Amanda Snader; two daughters. Licensed in 1891 as preacher in United Evangelical Church, as it was called after 1894. He served a few years as a pastor in Fredericksburg, Mt. Nebo, Tamaqua, and Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. Ordained in 1894. Left pastorate to be a custodian at Albright College in Mayerstown, Penn, where he served 20 years. Funeral at Terre Hill, Rev. C.D. Rabuck, pastor. --Robert S.
