Marching On

Representative Text

1 Marching on with armor bright,
In the Holy Spirit's might,
See the regiments of right,
Marching on!
Fearing neither pain nor death,
With their ev'ry passing breath,
Do they fight the fight of faith,
Marching on.

Refrain:
Marching on, marching on,
In the pow'r of Jesus' name,
Marching on, marching on, marching on,
In a holy, heav'nly frame.
Marching on.

2 Marching on with courage bold,
Filled with love and peace untold,
Like the blessed saints of old,
Marching on!
Loving God and hating wrong,
In the faith of Jesus strong,
Lo, the holy hero throng,
Marching on. [Refrain]

3 Marching on with steady trend,
By the Lord of glory led,
Neither of the foe afraid,
Marching on!
We shall conquer, praise the Lord,
By the wisdom of the Word,
And receive a full reward,
Marching on. [Refrain]
