1 Manda tu Espíritu, Señor,
sobre los siervos* dal altar;
dales tu santa bendición,
llénalos de tu santidad.

2 Que al enseñar al pueblo fiel,
sólo prediquen tu verdad;
que cumplan siempre su deber
con santo celo y caridad.

3 Dales, Señor, saber, virtud,
dulzura, sin debilidad;
que ansíen siempre amar,
cual tú, las vidas que son tu heredad.

4 Velar, orar y trabajar
junto a Jesús, es su misión;
al justo deben alentar
y corregir al pecador.

5 Y al terminar tan gran labor,
mueran gozosos en tu paz;
de ti reciban, oh Señor,
bella corona celestial.
