Representative Text

1 Lord, hear our morning prayer,
And bless us through the day;
‘Tis sweet to feel that Thou dost care—
That Thou wilt guide our way.
O keep the busy feet
That journey from the home,
And may we all together meet
When evening shadows come.

2 Lord, bless the toiling hands
That make our home so fair,—
That gladly work love’s sweet commands,
And every burden share.
O may the parents, Lord,
And all the children be,
With heart and mind in sweet accord,
One family in Thee!
