Representative Text

1 Let us come before the Lord today with singing,
Gratitude for all his many mercies bringing;
Lift the heart in song until the heights are ringing,
And the list’ning angels join the glad refrain.

Refrain:
Sing, O sing unto the King!
Lift your voice to him in songs of grateful praise;
Sing, O sing unto the King!
Thus each heart its debt of loving tribute pays.

2 Sing, O sing! Let ev’ry voice join in the chorus,
Praise to him whose love makes bright the way before us;
Praise to him whose angels keep their vigil o’er us,
Honor to the King, today, and evermore. [Refrain]

3 O the love, the love of God that changeth never!
Love so strong that naught but sin its links can sever;
Sing, O sing! All glory be to him forever,—
God, our King, who rules and saves the world by love. [Refrain]
