Representative Text

1 Let me walk by Thy side, O my Savior,
When the noon brings the storm-winds of strife;
Past the tempest of passion, O Savior,
Lead me--meet for a crown of life.

Chorus:
Let me walk by Thy side, O my Savior,
Let me live in Thy presence divine;
Let me work, let me pray, let me listen,
Lose my will, precious Savior, in Thine.

2 Let me walk by Thy side, O my Savior,
When the cup of my joy runneth o'er;
Keep my faith stayed on Thee, precious Savior,
When the clouds of bereavement low'r. [Chorus]

3 Let me walk by Thy side, O my Savior,
When the night brings its promise of rest;
Let me wake in Thine arms, O my Savior,
When Thy children who loved are blest. [Chorus]
