Jouluyö! Juhlayö!

Representative Text

1 Jouluyö! Juhlayö!
Päättynyt kaikk’ on työ,
Kaks vain valveill’ on puolisoa
Lapsen herttaisen nukkuessa,
"Seimikätkyessään."

2 Jouluyö! Juhlayö!
Paimenill’ yksin työ,
Enkel taivaasta ilmoitti heill’:
Suuri koittanut riemu on teill’!
"Kristus syntynyt on!"

3 Jouluyö! Juhlayö!
Täytetty nyt on työ.
Olkoon kunnia Jumalalle!
Maassa rauha, myös ihmisille
"Olkoon suosio suur."
