Representative Text

1 Jesus knocks at the door of my heart,
I will let Him in;
Shall I bid such a guest depart?
I will let Him in.
Long has He waited before the door,
Pleading so tenderly o’er and o’er,
I will deny Him no more, no more,
Yes, I Will let Him in.

2 Peace and blessing He brings to me,
I will let Him in;
Saves from guilt and its misery,
I will let Him in.
Give me Thy presence, O Lord of grace,
Find in my heart a resting place,
Cleanse it forever of sin’s sad trace,
Yes, I Will let Him in.
