Representative Text

1 In the name of the Union so noble and great,
We come with a message from each sov’reign state,
A message that rings from each hill, rock and clod,
“A land, to be mighty, must honor its God!”

Refrain:
“America Ever!” our watchword shall be,
“America Ever!” so noble and free;
The land that the pilgrims and patriots trod
Shall always be great by the glory of God.

2 In the name of our country we proudly would tell
That all of our people in gladness may dwell;
No fear of oppression their comfort can mar,
Her name stands for freedom both near and afar. [Refrain]

3 In the name of the Union go forward today,
All for our dear homeland still labor and pray.
The message repeat, till the world hears the word,
“A land, to be mighty, must worship the Lord!” [Refrain]
