In Christ I have believed

1 IN Christ I have believed,
And through the spotless Lamb
Grace and salvation have received;
In Him complete I am!

2 This hope divine uplifts
My soul amid distress;
“Without repentance” are His gifts
Who thus vouchsafes to bless.

3 My sins, my crimson stains,
Are blotted out, each one;
No condemnation now remains!
God views me in His Son.

4 Then come what may to me,
It will, it must be blest!
Home, in the distance, I can see;
There I shall be at rest.
