Representative Text

1 I’m rejoicing today
As I go on my way,
Hallelujah! my sins are gone;
Waves of joy o’er me roll,
Peace is flooding my soul,
Hallelujah! my sins are gone.

Chorus:
Hallelujah! my sins are gone,
Hallelujah! my sins are gone;
For the cleansing stream, I know,
Makes me whiter than the snow;
Hallelujah! my sins are gone.

2 Night has vanished away,
Mine a glorious day,
Hallelujah! my sins are gone;
Condemnation no more,
Burdens me as before,
Hallelujah! my sins are gone. [Chorus]

3 Ev’ry soul-binding chain
has been broken in twain,
Hallelujah! my sins are gone;
Grace abounding is mine,
What a glory divine!
Hallelujah! my sins are gone. [Chorus]
