Representative Text

1 I know that the victory soon will be mine,
That glory will come to me, too;
And that I shall never go wrong or repine,
For Jesus is taking me thro’.

Refrain:
Yes, Jesus is taking me thro’,
Is keeping me spotless and true;
No foe can appall me, no harm can befall me,
For Jesus is taking me thro’.

2 Tho many temptations are coming to me,
And friends are faint-hearted and few,
No burden too heavy to carry will be,
For Jesus is taking me thro’. [Refrain]

3 Tho many a tempest sweeps over my way,
The home-lights are always in view;
And night soon will end in a beautiful day,
For Jesus is taking me thro’. [Refrain]

4 I know that at last I shall look on His face
And praise Him with songs that are new;
With all that are trusting His wonderful grace;
For Jesus is taking me thro’. [Refrain]
