Representative Text

1 I have surrender'd to Jesus,
Conquered by weapons of love;
I have forsaken earth's treasures,
Seeking a treasure above.

Refrain:
I now have surrender'd,
Christ now is my stay;
I have surrender'd to Jesus,
Keep me, my Saviour, I pray.

2 I have surrender'd to Jesus,
Trusting my all to His grace;
O what a blessed surrender!
O what assurance and peace! [Refrain]

3 I have surrender'd to Jesus,
No more rebellious am I;
I will adore Him forever,
And in His service will die. [Refrain]

4 I have surrender'd to Jesus,
Long have I wander'd in sin,
Long have I doubted and grieved Him;
O what a wretch have I been! [Refrain]

5 I have surrender'd to Jesus,
Trusting His grace and His power;
I will forever obey Him,
Seeking His face ev'ry hour [Refrain]
