Representative Text

1 I am caught, and I'm whirled in this fast moving world,
Where people dash on, to and fro!
Lord, I'm weary and worn, and my heart-strings are torn,
No refuge have I here below.

Refrain:
Precious Lord, precious Lord, be with me in the morn,
be my strength, that I may fight the battles of the day;
Precious Lord, precious Lord, what will I do at noon,
When my friends, loved ones are so far away?
Savior, I know how in love You saved me,
And I know that Your hand keeps my soul,
Precious Lord, precious Lord, what will I do at eve,
Precious Lord, When the shades of darkness roll?

2 I have looked ev'rywhere seeking one who would care,
Thru valleys, o'er mountains I've come;
In the darkness of sin,
O how lonesome I've been--
You've found me, and I'm going home. [Refrain]

3 I have left fields of sin, yet I've longing within,
My soul fills with yearning each day;
I am saved by Thy grace,
I shall see thy dear face
In heaven, not so far away. [Refrain]
