Representative Text

1 Have faith in God, my brother,
Have dauntless faith in God;
By faith we make the journey
Along this pilgrim road.

Refrain:
O we'll not doubt the Saviour,
But all His word believe;
Confiding in His favor,
We'll ever perfect live.

2 Have faith in God to suffer,
And patiently endure;
Have faith to live rejoicing,
And faith to keep thee pure. [Refrain]

3 Have faith to love thy neighbor
Faith, too, to testify,
And faith to look for Jesus,
Whose coming draweth nigh. [Refrain]

4 Have faith in God, my brother,
If to the lion's den
He lets the wicked take thee,
He'll bring thee out again. [Refrain]

5 Have faith in God, my brother,
There's naught too hard for Him,
By faith He'll purge thy conscience,
And all thy life redeem. [Refrain]
